Aisling Arann is a local non-profit organisation founded by Dara Molloy in 1985.
For several years it has practiced and promoted self-sufficiency and sustainable living by welcoming volunteers and workers from abroad to live, learn, and work at An Charraig.
Aisling Arann, with other growers on Inis Mór, also runs Bia Arann, a local farmers' market. Together with the island's community development cooperative Comharchumann Forbartha Arann Teo, they encourage everyone to grow organically to value their land and strengthen the community.
Aisling Arann is currently looking for 1 person to take over the management of the hostel from 2009.
Please find more information about the position on An Charraig's website - sections "Volunteering" and "Other possibilities...".
